I bet all chocolate lovers would like Peter Beier Chokolade in central Halmstad. This Danish chocolatier makes some of the best truffles in Europe. Sit down in a comfy seat and order a chocolate drink, and don’t forget to purchase a couple of truffles to bring home before you leave. They offer both milk chocolate and dairy free treats, perfect for vegans. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am.

This chocolatier/café is located near the main square in Linköping, across the street from a restaurant called Hamlet. Easy to find. Once inside, you can choose between various chocolate truffles, special delicacies such as organically grown figs with whole almond dipped in dark chocolate, brownies, homemade dairy free "chokladbollar", and other cakes and sweets. Don’t miss their hazelnuts in chocolate with coffee taste. They also serve warm drinks, and different juices with fruits and herbs.

When I moved to London in 2005 I discovered The Chocolate Society in Shepherd Market, Mayfair. A great location, especially during the warmer months when you can sit outside in the sunshine. Apart from delicious chocolate truffles, they offer a variety of delicacies. I particularly recommend the dark chocolate brownies -- perfect in taste and consistency, one of the best I've ever tasted.
