Buy your grocerys as a local. Go to the Nachstmarket and get great organic, Austrian and ethnical food. You can eat in one of its eateries (as good as Umafirsch) and or take the lunch away. It´s a perfect saturday morning plan.
Travel tips
This is the most popular commercial street in Wien. You will find fast fashion big department stores, cheap interior design huge shops and shopping center with international brands. Locals go to do shopping here. It´s very closed to the Museum Quartier
This enormous complex is formed by first-league Museums and trendy coffees and bars. This is the place of gathering for Vienna young people.
Unlike tipping anywhere else when it comes to paying your bill tell your waiter to take 10% of the bill or however much you think is deserved. If of course your unhappy with the service then don´t tip and of course tell the server why :)
This use to be the old Jewish area. Great places to walk around and just take it all in. Some great places to shop, drink and eat.Karmelitermarkt is a cool market too, this district holds new and up coming new shops so its one to watch. Its so laid back, your going to love it here. Quirky happy funny ... stay all day easily !!!
