Valleta is a little unkown gem. It is so full of history..most people would not realise this. That is what makes it so intriguing. During WW11this city was bombed more than anywhere else, and the kind Maltese people survived with quiet dignity. It is beautiful and rugged all at the same time. It is a fun place to visit as well as relaxing...nothing is too formal, but it can be if you want it to be. The maltese taught the Italians how to cook...or so THEY say. It is a great place to visit.
