Around 190 kilometers from the main road, Tasker is the last permanent village in the way to the north. It is hight recomendable bring your own car, because after arrive you will need to move around. No places for sleep and eat, but you always can ask somebody for stay a local house in exchange for a little money. It is best to stock up on food and diesel fuel before leaving Goure. Do not forget to register at the military post to your arrival.
Travel tips
Around two kilometers from Tasker, is Phala Sha, a small sedentary camp where lives the endearing Mohadmed's family , an old government official, retired in this idyllic place. You can ask him looking hospitality for the night, and share a little time with the family life. He speak very good french and enjoy with the visits. Bring some present for the family!!! The sunset from there is amazing!!!
