Ambassador yellow taxis, the Kolakata taxis, are very cheap (around 25Rs short way). Anyway, it is better arrange the price before entry into the car. Many of them have a taxi-meter: be sure that it is working correctly, the digital meters are more expensive that the old mechanical meters.
