Coron Island is an island located in the northern tip of Palawan, Philippines. It is about a hour's flight from Manila.
The island has azure, clear waters and beaches bounded by jagged limestone cliffs. In the island are numerous freshwater lakes, one of which is Kayangan, considered holy by the Aborigine tribe, called Tagbanuas, who lives in the island.
Coron is also ideal for skin diving, scuba diving and wreck diving. Several Japanese warships sunk during the war dot the island
