Bordeaux has 3 tram lines, and between them they hit all the major hot spots in the city. The ticket machines have instructions in French, English, or Spanish. Tickets are E1.40 for a single journey, though you can also buy 10-journey as well as single and multi-day passes. Tickets are good for any journey, on any single line or combination of tram and bus lines, of up to one hour. Make sure you punch your ticket in the machine when you board--fines are hefty!
