It felt like taking a peek into a mythical place that may have existed in in your dreams. Tanah Lot's mysterious glow has to be visited to be fully appreciated. It's a temple built on a reef separated from the main land when the tide comes in. If you want to go to the temple, better go in the morning. However, I would recommend having an early dinner just before sunset on the cafes on the cliffs overlooking the temple.
Travel tips
We have been recommended to use Teken. He take you around Bali. He is trustworthy and safe. He is insured and has to go through strict requirements to provide driver/transport service. He explains he has to change his van or MPV is a requirement.(safety reasons). I went to Bali from 2nd Feb to 6th Feb 2011 and it's a new Toyota Avanza.
