Agro-tourism (hostals and hotels in the countryside) has become a strong tendency during recent years, and a great alternative, especially for nature lovers. Quindío (Armenia is the capital of this department) has more than 300 coffee country houses (fincas) which guides its visitors in the learning about our cultural tradition, sharing the greatness of this territory.
You will be able to see some "wall sculptures" in some places around Armenia. which gives it an ethnic touch. You can see one of these in the North part of Avenida Bolivar, another in front of the Railway Station, and one more on the way out to Calarcá.
