Eating & Drinking in Montevideo

If you want to know who's who in the Uruguayan cultural scene, La Ronda is the place to be. Filmmakers, writers and every foreign artist that hits the city, can be found in this hipster Montevidean spot. Djs play their vintage vinyls while you eat or have a drink. I highly recommend their famous "masticables" (an Uruguayan version of Mexican burritos) and their fantastic caipiroshkas (caipirinhas made of vodka).
