Touchstone hotel - don't stay here

Hotel in downtown. Yes, very convient. No, not worthy. Way too expensive for what you get. Noisy, old, smelly, sink outside the bathroom, with little unexpected hairs... definitely a NO!

The good hotel

The Good Hotel it's a very cool hotel. The staff is kind. It's a "green" hotel. I liked the fact that they take care about the environment using reciclable materials like wood for the beds and furniture.... I loved the design of the rooms and the hall.
There were two or three bikes available for free and it's situated very close to Market Street, where most of the shops are. It has a private parking.
It has a restaurant, GoodPizza, where they serve pretty good pizzas. 100% recommended.

Metro hotel

The Metro Hotel is clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. Rooms a bit small, but comfortable. (How much time will you be in the room anyway?) The price is affordable, and when asked if they could give a deal for an extended number nights, they were willing to take a little off the normal price. The biggest draw of staying here is the location. Divisadero is a great neighborhood with plenty of eccentric shops & bars, located near the Haight & Castro, and easily accessible to public transit.
