This place just looks terrifying, without even taking into account all the notorious criminals that stayed here and all the horrific things that happened behind it's wall. But it's also one of the most historic former prison in the country. It was operational from 1829 until 1971. Criminals such as bank robber Willie Sutton and Al Capone were once held here.
