This place isn't just the hometown of legendary basketball star Larry Bird. It's also home to some of the of the neatest restored Victorian hotels in the Midwest. Check out the 1902 West Baden Springs Hotel and the French Lick Springs Hotel, which make up the French Lick Resort Casino. There's also a cave that can only be explored by a boat and one of Abe Lincoln's log cabins. One of my favorite stops was the Artists Inn and Gallery.
