Alliance will make you feel as if you stumbled into a scene from the movie Amélie. One part bakery/espresso shop, and another part internet café, Alliance is the perfect spot for caffeine consumption and/or loitering with friends. Their baked goods – such as red velvet cake cupcakes – are beautiful and especially tasty. In the window there’s a display of customized, whimsical cakes, like the bust of a woman in a bikini and a larger-than-life hamburger. Next door is a very large internet café.
