Funky buddha lounge
in Eating & Drinking
If you like Hip-Hop and House music, Funky Buddha Lounge is a great place to go. Thursdays is the best night in my opinion. It's a diverse crowd and the music is always good. I've done some of my best partying at this place. You might also catch a live performance depending on how early you go. Sometimes it might take a while to pick up, but by the end of the night it gets pretty packed. A must see!

GO SEE Millennium Park! It's in the heart of downtown Chicago and one of the MAJOR tourist attractions. There you'll see the famous Cloud Gate sculpture, which looks like a huge chrome bean. You also experience the cool interactive Crown Fountain, which is my personal favorite. If you arrive at the park first stop at the welcome center located at 201 E. Randolph Street in the Northwest Exelon Pavilion. There you'll find friendly guides that will help you plan your visit.

Awesome sushi restaurant! I first discovered Blue Coral because my friend celebrated his birthday there. Ever since that day I've been coming back. It's a spacious restaurant and nicely decorated. If you're like me and get overwhelmed with so many options, check out the Blue Coral Signature Maki menu section, The restaurant also has a bar, but if you're going for dinner I would recommend making reservations.

When it comes to Cuban restaurants for me it's hit or miss. Being raised on Cuban food I'm very critical when something just doesn't taste like home. With that said, Cafe Laguardia in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, in my opinion is one of the BEST Cuban Restaurants in Chicago. The food is excellent and the drinks are great. It has a nice friendly atmosphere and on certain nights they have live salsa music. If you're a fan of Cuban cuisine I highly recommend eating here.

In the mood for a burger and a beer, or perhaps a tasty salad and a glass of wine? Either way, Grace O'Malley's has you covered. Located in the heart of the South Loop and close to Soldier Field, this is a great place to grab a bite and chill out. Attentive service and nice-sized portions for the money round out a great experience.
If you're there on a Sunday, check out the brunch - great bloody mary's and mimosas!
