Teri-Aki is a really nice Japanese restaurant. A whole range of shusi, maki, tempura, noodles, etc. I totally recommend Teri-Aki maki which is a HUGE maki roll you can barely fit in your mouth. Ummm.......

About a year ago Teri-Aki bought the premises just by its side and created Aki-Teri, which is exactly the same thing but with a mirrored-name. You have to see it.

There aren't that many places in Cambridge, so chances are you are going to the Soultree. Nice place but go on a Saturday unless you like funky, then go on a Friday.

It's rather empty before 12, so don't bother.

It's a garden tea on the outskirts of Cambridge (lovely walk by the river Cam from town) where you can enjoy a typical afternoon tea (tea, scones, clotted cream and jam). Serving tea since 1868 to Virginia Woolf or Rupert Brooke, among others, who used to come here.

The Cambridge Blue is one of those so called "local" pubs. Located in beautiful Gwyder St, the pubs has a TON of different real ales in the pumps and foreign bottled beers.

On top of that they have a big patio which, hold on, is side by side with a local cemetery. And the best bit is that some people go inside and sit by the graves having a pint, or walk the dog... a must-see!

The eagle pub

One of my favourite pubs in Cambridge so far. Located in the city centre, this pub is one of oldest English traditional pubs in Cambridge, where you can have a drink and English food either indoors or at its outdoor terrace. Where DNA discovery was announced to the public and the airmen from the World War II used to stamp their names as graffitis on the ceiling.
Better food on week days.
