Things to do in Taipei

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is as beautiful as controversial. The political and legal wrangling for its name is a good sample of the political polarization of the country between the nationalists and the pro-Chinese.

The enclosure includes a park (where the people use to do exercise, walk or practice martial arts), the National Theater, the National Concert Hall, a great plaza and the memorial hall itself.
