Popularity
It's the center and treasure of the golden city. The living room of Salamanca since it was design in the XVIII century by Alberto and Nicolás Churriguera. Over the centuries it has been the scene of bullfighting, concerts and even trials. Nowadays it's the most famous meeting spot (mainly under the clock), scene of a great variety of shows and events, and holds the City Hall and some of the most traditional coffe shops in the city (Novelty, Cervantes...)
