Salamanca has nor one but two Cathedrals, blend with each other in front of Anaya Square. The Old Cathedral was built between the XII and XIV centuries in Romanesque and Gothic styles. Its Torre del Gallo (Cock Tower) is the most beautiful part. The New Cathedral was built between the XVI and XVIII centuries in two styles: Gothic and Baroque, but keeping more of the Gothic style.
