The weather can be such an issue when you are visiting the north of Spain. Locals are used to it, and you know the saying "when in Rome..." So, in order to keep dry you just need a hoodie, rainy shoes, or a small umbrella. Carriying un umbrella can be a pain, instead you can buy one for a couple of euros in one of the cheap and conveniently located stores comonly known as "chinos". Similar to the pound shop in Uk you can find everything you need for a euro or less. Great for budget travellers!
