Discos babel
Hands down my favorite record shop in Madrid. Nicest knowledgeable folks and good finds. Lots of used records - many of them not so easy to find and at decent prices, some new, plus hard to find books, etc.
Open Monday-Saturday 11-2:30 and then from 5:00-8:30.

Satanasa
A record and vintage clothing shop that also has pins and some funky things for the house. The records are high-quality new and used punk, soul, and rock. Lots of cool reissues.
It's a cool place, too bad it's only open during the rastro (flea market) on Sunday mornings and some holidays.

Pepita is dead
This store has been the vintage pioneer in the city. It started in the mid 90´s to sell vintage when everyone thought it was made just for hippies or nostalgic freaks. Before, Kate Moss, I mean. Her location, closed to Reina Sofia and Helga de Alvear Art Gallery makes this dark store an interesting spot for a Saturday morning route.

Mercado de san miguel
El apartamento
If you love retro style, the sets of the 70´s movies and Mad Men ambiances, this is your place. The offer is not massive but it´s good to buy lamps or chairs. It´s expensive but good collectors don´t mind to pay.

If you like doing things with felt, fabric and other kinds of materials you have to visit this square, because there are a lot of small shops selling all kind of stuff.
