Shopping in Ilha de Moçambique

Near the hospital and arriving to old city, there´s a square with the local market and a few shops. But one can find some music and crafts. In one corner is an indian shop with several articles and food.

Tourism increases and opens new doors in Ilha like this store located on the street arcades along restaurant Relics. A store with a wide range of Makonde crafts, masks, nice dresses, necklaces, cards (hard to get) and different memories for a good gift. They also have a selection of books.

At the entrance of the hotel has a small shop but with unusual items. Almost every craft makonde but also swimsuits. Ask the owner of the restaurant.
