Anfora do ouro
Near Reliquias restaurant. Offer basic, with two or three dishes and menu. But a cheaper option for lunch or dinner. Good soups. Sometimes they have indian samusas.
Snacks and drinks
Opposite the Escondidinho hotel is a small local that offers cheap and simple snacks. Do not miss the samusas, typical Indian food, somewhat spicy but delicious, with a soda. A good snack until dinner time.
Outside you'll have childrens with trays filled with small candies very very cheaps, to finish the meal.
Watadelfu
Local fashion for youth in Ilha. Its name is the translation of Goa island into the local language of makua. Small restaurant with a few dishes (good fish), but a charming and friendly place, designed to Mozambican. Instead of fun and dancing for the night. All in the same place.
Escondidinho
Mozambican and European dishes prepared very well in the hotel restaurant, who runs a French woman. Good selection of fish and meat. I recommend the lobster salad. It also has wine and spirits. Very good service and excellent breakfast.
Reliquias
On the way to the museums, along with an arcaded street. Extensive selection of Mozambican cuisine. Good fish and seafood. A very pleasant place to diner. And even advisable to book a site and make the request in time, setting the dinner table. Slow service. Best forget the rush and drink on the terrace, listening to good music in front of the sea.
