Things to do in Berlin

Experience the history of Berlin from an unconventional perspective! Since 1997, the Berlin Underworlds Association has been offering regular tours into some of the most important underground structures in the city. Although the majority of our tours are in or near the Gesundbrunnen station in the north of Berlin, we also offer tours in several other subterranean complexes that are otherwise not publicly accessible.

I found this place by wandering into a random entranceway off a busy sidestreet in Berlin. A small and beautiful graveyard with elaborate headstones. 2 rows of poplar trees line and shelter the walkways and shrubs, flowering bushes and vines take over the rest.
Very Tranquil and comforting - yet eerie and the same time.
Exactly what one would expect from a German cemetary.

A unique collection of garden styles from China, Japan, Korea, Bali and the Middle East.It was produced in very close cooperation with Berlin’s sister city Peking.
You could even enjoy an authentic tea-ceremony.

Boxhagener Platz is in the East side of Berlin, so it's no surprise in this flea market the main theme is "ostalgie" (nostalgie form the Eastern Germany times). You may find that mainly everything is just junk, but it always hides a little something for everyone.
If you're lucky enough, it could even be cheap.

The flea market opens every sunday from 10:00 to 18:00.

Between Brandenburg Gate and the new Hotel Adlon, the Art Academy is a place to enjoy art exhibitions and events or shopping in the small shop in ground floor. Don't miss the building architecture.

If you are lazy to go with a bicycle, Carlo rents his Vespas for a reasonable price: one day 24,00 Euro / 5 hours 15,00 Euro / Weekend 50,00 Euro.

The wall maybe is the most typical "monument" to visit in Berlin. There are fragments all along the city, and some of them have small museums or tributes. Its very impressive.
