Things to do in Salento

This beautiful forest is covered in "Palmas de Cera" (wax tree), CoIombia's national tree. You can go there by taking a "jeep Willys" in Salento's main square, to the heart of Valley of Cocora, home of endless species of flora and fauna. It's named Cocora after the indian Princess of the Quimbaya culture which means "star of water". As you arrive you will find a good tourist informant team that will guide you to the different interesting places, long walks or take you horse riding. Eat Trout!!
