At 13 km.from the village of Ñirehuao is Baño Nuevo. Founded as a section of the large room of the CIS, keeps the classical structure of a livestock section: Bath, shearing shed, yards and houses of workers protected from strong winds by rows of trees. These Patagonian ranches has thousands of cattle and disposed of dozens of gauchos as workers. To one side is the small village, founded in 1969 after expropriating the room. In 1985 44.000 acres were transferred to a new owner.
