Main Park

recommendation by arhuaca

The houses and the temples around it are really colourful and it's all a combination of colonial, pre-columbian and republican styles.

Chía, Cajicá, Tabio, Tenjo, Subachoque and el Rosal, are small towns located in the north west of Bogotá, and it is an idea to follow a route in one day that covers them. They're in Bogotá's Sabanah, beautiful and very green.

In past eras, indians used to paint figures on the stones as a way to leave a "record" of their doing in their daily lives, as if they were books. In this stone, there is an image that shows Bochica (protecting God in the Chibcha's indian comunity mithology) with his 5 children. There are also the stones "La Chorrera de Miranda" y "Pintadas" with cave rock art.
