Situated at 1.840 meters and near the Argentinan north border, Tarija has a delightful climate and bucolic atmosphere, with very nices walks around it, specially to find fossils. With its trees and fruits, is a pleasantly relax.
Things to do
The most interesting church of Tarija, with praying angels depicted on the ceilling and the four evangelist painted on the corners below the dome. The old section of its library contains about 15.000 volumes.
