On the beautiful May 25th Plaza, full of trees and spaces for leisure, you'll find Freedom House, a stately colonial building where they signed the Declaration of Independence of Bolivia and which keeps a large portrait of the Liberator Simón Bolívar. There is a small fee for using a camera and video. We recommend joining a guided tour and hearing about the place's history.
