Things to do
A competition was held to build the Metropol Parasol in Plaza la Encarnacion. The project took 5 yrs to create and at a huge cost of 90 million busck, wow and is one of the world’s largest wooden structures covering an area of nearly 13,000 squared meters. Featuring hundreds of interweaving ‘waffle’ like panels that form canopies and walkways. The whole structure will become elevated plaza, archeological site and farmers market with bars and restaurants. This is sure to grab everyone’s attention
