The roofs of the cathedral of santiago de comostela is a great way to get away from it all and see the view for miles around. It's old and its cool and we love that. 30m hill and 84 steep steps to get there. Their flyer says "whoever goes up ... even if they feel sad, will cheer up on seeing the splendid beauty of this temple" this says it all :)

It's the heart of Santiago. There you can experience the mix between pilgrims and tourists. Always full of people it's the kilometro zero for the Camino de Santiago.

Have a look to the Cathedral and have a coffee in the Hostal de los Reyes Catolicos built in 1486.

All the squares around are also really beautiful and no so crowded.
