It's a bronce statue of the founder of Cali, brought up to commemorate the 4th aniversary of the city.

They were built by a priest to protect the city from a devil that made a curse to the habitants of Cali, that way to capture him on the mount itself. It's a peregrination place in Easter.
This is a piece of art created by sculpturer Héctor Lombana, as a homage to the strength and enthusiasm that is so well represented in people from Cali and the whole of its department, el Valle.
Lovely little salsa club, about the size of 2 living rooms, where the music is great, the people are friendly and the dancing is amazing. The mixed crowd are generous as partners, open to foreigners and can accept it if a girl asks a boy to dance! I learnt so much there.
