The Red Vic is a worker owned movie theater in the upper haight (just a couple of blocks from golden gate park). They tend to have a really great selection of new and old movies playing, and you can pick up a flier, or check out their website for schedules.
The best part are the tasty options for the popcorn, the funky benches, and the homemade trailers about cleaning up after yourself.
