One of my favorite places in Golden Gate Park. Behind the gates, the gardens are a little piece of artistry in a serene environment, with bonsais, bamboo trees, the little pagoda and moon bridge, koi ponds and sculptures. Definitely try to experience the tea ceremony.
Regular admission prices can be high, however the first and last hours of each day are free and the first Wednesday of the month is half price.
