My parents are older so they’re not too keen on traveling around on foot, in and out of stores, etc. These paddle wheel riverboat tours are therefore a real lifesaver. We can all agree on sitting down, kicking back, and watching the sights on the Fox River for an hour. We took a public cruise (they also offer private ones) and it was a wonderful experience. As you cruise the tour guide will tell you stories from the era of Mark Twain, when the Pottawatomie Indians used to live on the shorelines.
