I love old vintage theaters. The Arcada was built in 1926 and maintains its vintage charm with ornate fixtures, antique architecture, and lush red chairs. There’s even an original, antique organ that rises from the center of the floor. Big and little shows pass through here all the time. Sometimes it’s rented out and used for private parties, etc. I saw KC and the Sunshine Band here and it was a total ball, the theater is just the right size for an intimate appeal. It holds about 900 people.
