This is a great zoo of domestic animals (more than 4000) that visitors can touch, feed, milk and so on. Panaca is a way to get the country side become more known to the city. You can see 5 different animal stations divided in birds, dogs, pigs cows and horses and each station has a different show which allows you to know more about them. It's very big and you could spend very pleasant hours there. You can also horse ride to go round the zoo. You will definetely taste a colombian flavour!
Things to do
This river became famous thanks to rafting, an adventure inspired on the way Quimbaya indians used to travel. There are different outings but I recommend the one that starts at 9:30 until 4:00 pm aprox. You go by "jeep", typical car for carrying coffee, from Quimbaya to the beginning of the route you choose in the river. The raft goes along the river, stopping at different points, so you have a swim in the river and in beautiful and harmless waterfalls. It's very safe. You can go with kids too.
