This museum was originally an idea of an American man, who comission a few scholars in order to create one of the few museums in the world devoted to an ideology. It shows memorabilia from daily life of the communist era. Difficult to find since it is in the 1st store of a building in a commercial street.

The museum has a great collection of posters, uniforms, scientific equipment, and other items from the Communist period. The information placards are in several languages and give you a nice overview of what life was like during this time in Prague. Ironically the museum is housed in the same building as a casino; once inside turn right and go up the stairs to find the museum.
