Xcaret is mixed of culture, ecology and Mexican wildlife. You can find Underground Rivers, a Beach, Inlets and at night the show “Xcaret Mexico Espectacular” which is highly recommended. There are many water activieties like, such as swimming with dolphins, snuba, sea trek and snorkeling.
It is a great place to go if you are travelling with children.

The Willow Stream Spa is part of the Fairmont Mayakoba Resort. It's a luxury spa where they offer the best beauty, relaxing and healthy treatments. You don't have to be a guest at the hotel to book a treatment. They offer individul treatments and also treatments for couples. It is an expensive treat, but definitely worth it.
There is a beach zone in Playa del Carmen called Mamitas with cool bars to have a cocktail and enjoy chill out music. You can rent a hammock, its cheap and include some extra services. I recommend it on weekends as there is no music service in labour days and the hammock service finishes quite early at 6pm.
