Things to do

BEEN THERE! WANNA GO THERE!

I loved all of the history I learned there! Not to mention all of the old paintings and ornate furniture in the palace, as well as, the gardens outside. When I went the first time, I had to pay for a tour. Now, I have downloaded a personal tour onto my I-Phone from the app store. My niece and I will be able to listen with our own headphones and a splitter to the tour on my I-Phone:) Now, that's progress!! We will be able to go at our own pace and skip what we are not really interested in.

A walk along the Seine River by the Grenelle Bridge, will eventually bring you to a small replica of The Statue of Liberty like the one France gifted to the USA. Plus, as you walk along the river, you get to see a slice of life on the river. One gets a feeling of being removed from the city while walking next to the river under the bridge along the path.

We stopped in here for a late night snack since it was right across the street from our hotel. The crowd was really cool, and our server (who I believe is the owner as well) was awesome. Anyone could tell he loved his job. He had great music playing from his ipod, and I even heard Buju Banton playing at one point! The food and the DRINKS were really good. I would love to go there again next time I am in Paris!
