The southeast of Central Park holds the biggest ice skating rink in the city. It’s really beautiful to go there in the winter, especially at night. They have a skate rental service. Central park gives you this amazing spot with amazing views and atmosphere.

Wollman Rink is also the site of the final scene of the movie Serendipity, starring John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.
I have wonderful memories of skating at this rink in the winter. The best part is taking a break from skating to sip on hot chocolate covered in marshmallows and whipped cream while staring at the city skyline.
