Great chance to enjoy a free view of Central Park. You can do it when you visit the Met Museum. In summer months the outdoor roof stays opened. People usually go up there just to take pictures despite the fact that the roof is part of the exhibition space of the Museum and every year it is devoted to a single artist. There is also a Cafe that serves drinks on Fridays and Saturdays after 4pm.

great place because the view of Central Park. Food is nice, sandwiches and that stuff, but has great cocktails and awesome sunset from the terrace.
