Gare de Sainte-Charles is THE central hub for any traveler stepping into Marseille. Found within are trains connecting to the rest of France and Europe, a metro stop, buses to and from surrounding areas, and a shuttle to the local airport.
Opened in 1848, but recently remodeled, it's more than just a weigh station; it's an architectural site to be savored while waiting for connections. Drenched in natural light, it retains much of the old building mixed with modern elements.
