The Iglesia de San Andrés is where Saint Isidore (patron saint of Madrid, and farmers) as a poor field laborer in the early 12th century used to go to pray along with his Wife Saint María. The church as we see it now was built in the late 12th century. San Isidore's remains stayed at this location until his canonization in the 17th century when it was moved to the Colegiata of San Isidro el Real.
