Right near the entrance of the Lubbock Cemetery you can find the grave of rock'n roll pioneer Buddy Holly who grew up in Lubbock, Texas and was killed in a plane crash in 1959.
Things to do
The entrance is $5 to this museum and space dedicated to the rock'nroll artist as well as being a local arts space (they host live concerts and expositions). This is where you can find Holly's guitars as well as other memorabilia and lots of information about the artist's life as well as about other Texas musicians.
Inside the center you can also find the Texas Musicians Hall of Fame.
