Built in 1893, inspired in "Looking Backward" a 1887 science fiction story and with the help of a ouija, this building is one of the most remarkable buildings in Los Angeles.
Lewis Bradbury, a mining millionaire, wanted a building to perpetuate his name. A "vast hall full of light, received not alone from the windows on all sides, but from the dome, the point of which was a hundred feet above" as the sci-fi book described commercial buildings.
You can see this building in Blade Runner.
