Things to do
Private Contemporary Art Collections are always cool to discover. They usually are exhibited in auteur-buildings and tends to have cool stores. This one fulfills all these requirements. Exhibitions are good also!
My favourite city I have been to, deffinitly take the tram 28 up to the Alfama district! Great fun!
Castelo Sao Jorge it’s a must-see of Lisbon. It’s not just about the castle itself, which are nice ruins to visit, but also about the views. The towers give you a privileged 360º view of Lisbon, including Downtown, the river, the bridge, the redemption Christ statue… Everything.
It’s cheap to get in (just 5€). They have discounts for students.
Santa Justa Elevator is a tower made in 1902 with the purpose to join Baixa and Chiado neighbouthoods. At the top of the tower there is an amazing café to have something to drink and a little munch while enjoying the spectacular and scary views. A free alternative for this tower-elevator is to use the metro station stairs to avoid having to climb all the way to Chiado. It is so worth the trip, hope you are not frightened of the height !
