There is a saying in China: "The Forbidden City in the north, and Mufu in the South." However, you can't imagine that this gorgeous, grand 'city' was once a private house! It was built 800 years ago by the famous 'Mu family'. The Goodman Mu, for the Naxi people, is like their ancestor. If you have not been to Mufu then you've failed on your tour of Lijiang.
