Norbulingka, meaning 'Treasure Park' in Tibetan. The garden covers an area of 360,000 square meters , with 374 rooms inside. It is the biggest man-made garden in Tibet Autonomous Region.
It was the summer palace of the Dal;ai Lamas and where the 14th scape to India. Construction began in the 1740s. Norbulingka consists of several palace complexes.
