Must-see:The life-sized statue of the Buddha Siddhārtha Gautama at 12 years old. It was the trousseau of Princess Wencheng when she married the king of Tibet. The Tibetans come to worship every day. It was built by the students of Siddhārtha Gautama when he was alive about 2500 years ago! It is located in the Jokhang Temple. A monk told us that during thousands of years it had been pasted gold so many times so that the little Buddha seems a bit fat today not like a 12 year-old boy.
